Every treatment plan is created specifically for your pet and so it is helpful to have time to review information about your pet’s health background prior to your first appointment.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR PET'S TREATMENT
During your pet's acupuncture appointment, the doctor will answer your questions and discuss your pet's health history. You are welcome to stay with your pet during his or her treatment or drop off, if preferred. Appointments are 30 minutes.
WHAT IS ANIMAL ACUPUNCTURE?
Acupuncture and herbal medicines have been used successfully for thousands of years. It is the goal of the doctor utilizing herbs and acupuncture to maintain the patient’s optimal health. In Ancient China, patients paid their doctors when they were healthy and did not have to pay when they got sick as it was the doctor’s directive to keep the client well.
When treating patients, we work to correct the root of cause of potential problem as well as preventing symptoms of disease through early detection of imbalances using history and physical exam findings.
